It would be unfair to compare our price with the market price considering the huge difference in our approach towards completely natural ripening and the resulting safety of the mangoes that we produce. Naturally our practice of multiple harvesting from each tree as compared to the normal single harvest practice (of both ripe and raw fruits) that is followed commercially, adds immensely to our overheads. Karnataka customers from outside Bangalore and Shimoga will be required to pay an all inclusive transportation charge of Rs 150 per 5Kg box. The boxes will be sent from Shimoga by bus and only places having direct bus connection with Shimoga will be supplied. Also, it will be their responsibility to collect the boxes from either the bus itself or the office of the bus operator whose details will be sent to them by phone/sms immediately after the boxes are dispatched.
